Boldmere St MIchaels

Boldmere play their home games at the Amber Arena and Community Stadium and are managed by former Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Karl Henry.

He led the Mikes to a 5th-place finish last season, finishing the season on 40 points, accumulating 13 wins, 1 draw, and 8 losses.

Last time out

City advanced to the Semi-Finals of the Worcestershire County Cup following a 5-1 win at Bromsgrove Sporting, thanks to goals from Jess Fassnidge and a brace each from Keeley Crew and game-changer Annie Sime.

Boldmere were also 5-1 winners away from home as they visited Barnsley to strengthen their lead at the top of the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands table.

Keeley Crew shines

Winger Keeley Crew scored a brace as City beat Bromsgrove Sporting 5-1 at the UK Electrical Stadium to book their place in the Semi-Finals of the Worcestershire County Cup, and we caught up with her after the final whistle to get her thoughts on the contest.

I think it was a really good game, I think we were patient, but we didn’t slow the game down .
I thought we played to our standards and got loads of chances which ended it well winning 5-1.
I was really pleased to score and I’m going to take it into the next few week against Boldmere and the next few league games

Previous meetings

City travelled to the Amber Arena and Community Stadium back in September, and despite putting a decent account of themselves, fell to a 3-1 defeat.

The last time the two sides met at Sixways was in October 2024, and City found themselves at the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline.

This Season

City remain in sixth position in the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands table on twenty points after thirteen games, registering six wins, two draws and five defeats.

Boldmere currently sit top of the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands on an impressive thirty-three points after thirteen games, registering eleven points and drawing two.
