Safeguarding/Welfare Officer:
Worcester City Women Football Club (WCWFC) is looking for three volunteer Player Safeguarding and Welfare Officers to support us in maintaining a safe, fun and enjoyable environment across our club.
We are looking for volunteers who want the experience of working in football and can provide guidance and support to our players throughout their journey at WCWFC. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who has a passion for promoting positive, safe and supportive cultures where players can thrive and having a highly visible and responsible role within the club.
The commitment is to attend a minimum of one training session (during the week) and one home match (weekends) per month during the football season and be available remotely for meetings and via mobile on an ad hoc basis.
Candidates will be assessed using our WCWFC Safer Recruitment Framework in line with FA guidance. Successful candidates must achieve an FA Accepted DBS Check, be able to provide two references and undertake all FA training (or refresher training) before appointment.
