On Sunday, City travel to Peterborough to face Stanground Cardea Sports in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup Third Round Qualifier.
Last season in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, City made it to the second round proper but were beaten 6-0 by West Bromwich Albion at the Valley Stadium in Redditch.
Ahead of City’s debut in this season's Adobe Women’s FA Cup, we caught up with defender and summer recruit Nyah Edwards to get her thoughts on how she’s settling in, the season so far, and her excitement ahead of Sunday’s cup clash.

Nyah, how have you settled into life at Worcester City Women?
“I’ve been loving my time so far at Worcester City Women - everyone at the club has been so welcoming, which has made it really easy to settle in”.
What do you think of our season so far?
“I think it’s been a bit of a roller coaster so far; there have been both positives and areas we can improve on.
We’ve shown moments of real quality and resilience, and there have been games where our hard work has really paid off.
At the same time, as a group we’re aware of the areas we need to work on, and we’ve been working hard in training to address that”.
How excited are you to start our Adobe Women’s FA Cup campaign on Sunday?
“I’m really excited to get our Adobe Women’s FA Cup campaign underway, it’s such a special competition with a lot of history.
We want to make a strong start and build momentum, and there’s definitely a real buzz around the squad”.
