Worcester City Women are thrilled to announce the signing of midfielder Courtney Jones
The 29-year-old has signed from Cheltenham Town where she was the club’s second-highest appearance holder with 120 appearances. Only ten appearances behind Emily Owen, who signed for City last week.
We caught up with our new CDM to get her thoughts on how’s she’s settled into the club in her first few days as a Worcester City Women player.
She said: “Over the past few days the players and staff have made me feel really welcome. I’m excited to be working alongside side Matt Jones again.
It’s clear to see the club has ambition and I’m excited to play alongside this talented group of players. I’m looking forward to the season with WCWFC and can’t wait for my first involvement with Worcester.”
Courtney is available for selection for this Sunday’s FA National League Division One Midlands fixture against Sheffield FC at Sixways.
