We can confirm that club captain, Jess Fassnidge has left Worcester City Women after a memorable five years with the club
The midfielder has been at the club since its inception back in 2021, and has a staggering 124 appearances, netting 58 goals in that time.
Jess has played a key role in our journey, both on and off the pitch and led the side to a historic double back in the 2023/2024 season as City won the Worcestershire FA County Cup and were crowned champions of the West Midlands Regional League Premier Division, which earned the club promotion to the FA Women’s National League for the first time in their history.
Fassnidge also lifted the Worcestershire FA County Cup for the second time in three seasons in the 2025/2026 season as Worcester City Women beat Tier five outfit, Redditch Borough 3-1 at Claines Lane back in April.
She optimises the words ‘club legend’. Her effort, desire, dedication, commitment and contribution to the football club has been second to none and will never forgotten.
Thank you, Jess for everything you have done for the football club and we wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavour’s.
