Last season, in the FA Women’s National League Cup, City were drawn in Group F alongside Cheltenham Town, Kidderminster Harriers, and Birmingham City PGA.

Worcester travelled to Kayte Lane on match day one in August to take on Tier 3 side Cheltenham Town and put on a decent account of themselves despite the 2-0 defeat.

Match day two saw  Kidderminster Harriers visit Sixways. City dominated the first half as Harriers couldn’t cope with City’s attack, and Worcester got their rewards in the second, coming away with a 2-0 win, as City took the spoils, taking them up to 2nd place in Group F.

City welcomed Birmingham City PGA on match day three, but fell to a 2-1 defeat at Sixways on match day three, where our captain and midfielder Jessica Fassnidge made her 100th appearance for the club.

The result meant that City still advanced to the FA National League Plate First Round, where they faced Tier 3 side Halifax at Sixways, but despite making a good account of themselves, were defeated 2-1.
