#21 Laura Davies

Laura’s footballing journey so far:

I started playing at a young age with my two older brothers & wasn’t aware of any girls teams to play for at the time. I represented my school by playing for the Boys team & didn’t play competitively until age 15/16.

I played for the University of Worcester during my studies, alongside West Bromwich Albion at club level. After uni, I played locally for Hereford Pegasus & Hereford Lads Club, before moving to the Welsh Women’s Premier League representing Abergavenny Women & then in more recent years Swansea City Ladies.

I enjoyed two league trophies during my time at Swansea City, as well as two cup trophies & three Champions League Qualifier campaigns. Making my debut against Greece Champions PAOK FC was a highlight of mine & shortly after I was able to play at the Swansea.com Stadium.

I joined Worcester City Women halfway through the 2022/2023 season, enjoying promotion since then & looking forward to getting back on the pitch for the 2025/26 season after recovering from injury.
