#2 Jess Bate

Been playing at senior level for just under 13 years, with some incredible moments. Started out at West Brom where we won the women’s premier league (tier 3 as it was then - shows how old I am haha), played in an FA cup quarter final vs Man City and other super league and championship teams and won the Birmingham county cup twice. Had amazing success with Stourbridge achieving back to back to back league titles to attain tier 3 status and winning league cups and playing in cup finals (such as county cup final vs wolves and national league plate final vs Leeds) for Stourbridge. Played football at Worcester university on a sports scholarship between 2015-2018 (which is where I met Matt and a few of my teammates now!) where we achieved league, cup and varsity titles.

Working as a health service manager.

Would say most of my hobbies are quite outdoorsy stuff like hiking, wild swimming, running, camping, paddle boarding and travelling!
