City return to FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands action following the Christmas and New Year break, fully refreshed and looking forward to building on a fantastic first half of the season, with the first half of the season seeing Worcester end with two wins from two and not conceding a goal.
This season
City are currently in 6th position in the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands Table, the highest the club has been in their history, registering sixteen points after eleven games.
The Royals, however, sit two places below City in 8th place, accumulating 11 points from the first 11 games.

Last time out
City saw out 2025 with a 1-0 win at Sixways against in-form Barnsley, following a close-range header at the back post by Kaye Haggett in the 19th minute, and a resolute second-half display to send Worcester up to sixth.
Sutton Coldfield Town, meanwhile, travelled to The War Memorial Athletic Ground to take on Stourbridge and went into the break 1-0 down, thanks to a goal from Sophie Phillips. The Royals rescued a point, five minutes from time, after an Amber Downs strike.

Previous meeting
The only previous meeting this season was back in August as City’s home campaign got underway at Sixways, which saw Worcester come away 1-0 winners, with skipper Jessica Fassnidge’s 38th-minute strike to ensure City got off the mark for the new season.
