City controlled the whole match, and stuck together as a team, and were finally rewarded in the 67th minute after game changers, Annie Highway and Jessica Fassnidge linked up for skipper Fassnidge to rifle one into the top-left hand corner.
City made sure of the win in the 73rd minute, after Supporters Player Of The Match, Evie Billingsley’s corner hit the bar and the ball fell onto Carys Lowley’s head for her to score her first goal for City from close range.
As for Boldmere, they came away with a 1-1 draw against Villa PGA.
Villa took the lead in the 7th minute; however, it was cancelled out by a Leonie Joyce strike just before the break.
