Nicole Allison

Nicole Allison, has over 20 years of multifaceted experience in the football industry, having been a player, coach, and business management professional. Her career has seen her operate at the forefront of the dynamic demands of today's football landscape, where she has garnered senior-level expertise in elite football across leagues, clubs, and agencies. 

​

In 2021, created and became the Owner and CEO of Worcester City Women Football Club Ltd, showcasing her commitment to women’s football development in her hometown. 

​

Nicole is a qualified mentor and educator with a Master’s degree in Football Business. Her journey includes significant stints managing sponsorship, media, and fan growth strategies at renowned sports organisations like Kantar Sport and The English Football League. She further delved into elite women’s football as the General Manager of Tottenham Hotspur Women before founding NA Sport, a consultancy dedicated to developing women’s football. Nicole is the Women’s Football Professor at The Football Business Academy, an Associate Lecturer in Sport Business Management at The University of Worcester and a Project Manager for Switch The Play, a charity supporting sportspeople transition into life after professional sport.

Jon White

Jon White, born and raised in the City of Worcester with one son and one dog. Since November 2023, my main role with Worcester City Women FC has been Commercial and Business Development Director. I have over 15 years’ experience in Project Management, Business Development and Marketing across a number of industries, and growing brands including developing new and existing partnerships. 

​

I am passionate about growing the awareness around women’s football and giving the city an elite level of sport that we can all love and support.

Sara Matthews

Sara Matthews, is a Fellow of the CIPD and the RSA and a Chartered Manager of the CMI. With over 25 years’ experience working in people management across a number of FTSE retail and e-businesses and within elite sporting environments at director level including HR Director at Chelsea FC.  

​

She now runs her own diversity and inclusion (D&I) business working predominantly with sports organisations and governing bodies. Her focus is on supporting them to develop and embed D&I into the people management practices and the organisation’s culture, strategies and priorities. 

​

London-based, Sara has been working with Worcester City Women FC since August 2022 focusing on people and culture and supporting the leadership team. As a lover of sport from darts to tennis she has a particular interest in growing women’s sport and loves supporting Worcester City Women as an up-and-coming team with great prospects.

David Faulkner, a husband and father to two dogs supports Worcester City Women FC as the Player, Coach and Staff Care professional and leads on Learning and Development. 

​

I am a Chartered Learning and Development professional, with 20 years’ experience of organisational leadership, management, team development and coaching. I am also an experienced executive coach and mentor with broad experience of operating within multiple business sectors at all organisational levels. 

​

I managed my own learning and development business for 9 years collaborating with local and global organisations as a direct learning provider. My specialities include team development in the outdoors, hill and mountain coaching and working with horses to develop leadership skills and individual and team confidence.

Alex Brookes, is Centre Manager at Worcester’s premier co-working space, The Kiln. It was at the Kiln that I had the pleasure of meeting Worcester City Women FC CEO Nicole Allison who had just taken the club on. Her enthusiasm and passion for the club, the sport and this fantastic city made me think that this was definitely something I wanted to be involved in. In my day-to-day job I am responsible for the strategic and operational centre management of The Kiln and The Arches in Worcester. I am delighted to bring this experience, as well as my network of contacts, my love of football and Worcester, to the board as a Director of Worcester City Women’s FC.

Akay Mustafa

Akay Mustafa, a seasoned sports professional based in Oslo, Norway, brings 20 years of diverse experience in sports, education, and management across three countries. 

​

Born in London, his journey encompasses roles with pro and semi-pro football clubs, charity basketball organisations, internationalSchools, and universities. Currently serving as the Board Member and Director of Football Operations at Worcester City Women FC, Akay is deeply committed to player and organisational development. 

 

His influential roles also include being a coach and scout for Norwich City F.C. and contributing to the top-ranked sports management program at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. When not engaged in sport or business you find Akay spending time with his wife and 1 year old daughter as they continue to explore Oslo.
