Worcester City Women FC collect donations for Worcester Foodbank

Dec 07,2021

On Sunday 12th December Worcester City Women are collecting goods for the local Foodbank by offering FREE entry to the match for every fan that donates food and/or toiletries.

Worcester City are looking to continue their winning streak as they entertain Coventry Sphinx at Claines Lane in a 14:30 kick off.

City have won their last 4 games and are hoping for as much support as possible from the locals to push them to their 5th win in a row.

The City Women are also asking for your support when it comes to supporting the local community and will be dropping off food to the local Foodbank in the lead up to Christmas, helping hundreds of local people.

City Co-Captain Hannah Johnson said; “we really want to see as many people at the game as possible and donate to a great cause to help local people who are struggling at this time. Foodbanks rely on people’s goodwill and support and as a club one of our key values is about supporting the local community so we’re proud to be supporting this initiative for the game on Sunday - we hope to see you there!”.

Please come along on Sunday to support the local Foodbank collection and, of course, spur the City Women to a 5th win!
