Unite the Union supports Worcester City Women

Unite the Union has become the latest organisation to back Worcester City Women by becoming their shirt sleeve sponsor for 21-22 season.

Unite’s Herefordshire and Worcestershire Branch Chair, Dan Roberts said: ‘The importance ofFootball Clubs to communities up and down the U.K is clear for all to see. That is why the members of our branch have agreed to support non-league clubs around Herefordshire and Worcestershire to ensure their long-term survival after a difficult 18 months’.

‘We are particularly pleased to be able to support Worcester City Women as it is vitally important that women's football is given all of the tools and funding it needs to grow and prosper. We wish the squad, staff and fans the best of luck in what we hope is a successful
season on and off the pitch for this brilliant club.'

Worcester City Women Executive Director, Nicole Allison said: ‘We’re really grateful for Unite’s support this season and we hope that many of Unite’s members come down to Claines Lane to support the team on match day and have a great day out. The support from sponsors such as Unite has a huge impact on our ability to progress as a club on and off the pitch so we’re extremely grateful and happy to be partnering with Unite’.
