Jodie Williams appointed Head Coach of Worcester City Women FC

Worcester City Women FC are delighted to announce that ex-Wolverhampton Wanderers coach, Jodie Williams has joined as First Team Head Coach.

Jodie is a UEFA B coach and has over a decade of experience in coaching women’s football, most recently with Wolverhampton Wanderers Women, and Worcester City Women are looking forward to her becoming an integral part of the club’s future.

Jodie has worked for the Football Association for several years as a Football Development Officer and an FA Tutor and brings passion and expertise to drive the women's game forward in abundance.

Jodie said: “I’m really excited to be joining Worcester City Women at such a time of growth for the female game and am looking forward to adding my experience and knowledge to what is already a great staff and a fantastic group of players. When the club presented their ambitions and plan to me, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of.”

Worcester City Women’s Executive Director, Nicole Allison added: “I am delighted we have been able to appoint someone of Jodie’s experience to the club. She is a great leader, coach and person and will help to develop our players, coaches and staff across the whole pathway. She joins us with a great reputation and network in the game and her personal ambitions and values match the club’s perfectly.”

Jodie has already joined up with the rest of the coaching staff and squads as the club prepares for the start of the 21/22 season in September.
